Compostable Swedish Dish Cloths

Go plastic free in the kitchen with our beautiful Swedish compostable dish cloths. Each eco friendly cloth is made with sustainably sourced wood cellulose and waste cotton fibers that are too short for the textile industry. They are 100% biodegradable, compostable, and a great reusable kitchen roll alternative.

Choose from three designs, printed with environmentally friendly water-based inks:

• Albatross (orange)
• Sea Turtle (green)
• Whale (blue)
• Pack of three (one of each design)

When designing the cloths, Battle Green kept in mind the three sea animals most negatively impacted by ocean plastic: sea turtles (who often mistake plastic bags for jellyfish – consumption causes intestinal blockages and eventual starvation) ; albatrosses (around 100,000 die each year from ingesting plastic waste after mistaking it for food); and whales (in 2018, a Sperm Whale washed up in Indonesia with over 13 pounds of plastic – including bags and flip-flops – in its stomach). 

Size

Each cloth measures 17.5 x 20cm. The three pack comes in a recycled card sleeve – please leave us a note at checkout if you don’t want us to include the sleeve ~ All orders are sent using biodegradable, plastic-free packing materials.
